Hi everyone, I'm looking for a good mechanic or service center who can solve a number of issues with my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. I live in Abu Dhabi so something in Mussafah would be good, Dubai is okay too as long as the issues can be fixed properly. Not a fan of Juma Al Majid for a number of reasons their long wait times and ridiculous customer service being the main reasons. A quick list of the main issues that need to be addressed: AC compressor has become weak, needs replacement Recently replaced shock absorbers (<10,000 km), car rides lower than normal ever since, feels bouncy on mildly uneven roads and bit unstable around corners. Humming sound when going around roundabouts, braking, slowing down and during gradual acceleration. I suspect wheel alignment. Car jerks when putting the car into D or R from Park. Feels like the clutch is not properly engaged. Initial acceleration feels sluggish for the past 10,000 km. Sunroof motor requires replacement. Noisy door closing sounds of both front doors. Both rear door hinges need replacement. Some small electrical issues, requires some fuse replacements. Thanks in advance for all your suggestions. Cheers, Fayad

Hi guy, I am having an issue with my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. I am not sure about what that is, and why my car began acting like that. Well everything was quite ok before 7 days. It ran about 130000 only. Yesterday returning to home from office I observe that car jerking like it was not in the right gear. I tried to control by shifting gear enounously twice and three times but seem nothing happening. I parked it near petrol station for about 10 min and tried to do some examine like getting car in reverse but nothing happen, Subsequently I took a little run and figure out the same snazzy jerk again. Slowly I took it to local garage and got to know that transmission is began slipping again and again without verifying car throughout. He advise me to change it. I was amazed to the need of transmission change absolutely only after five years of smooth driving from office to home and home to office. I am not sure about it but seems like the transmission slipping has been common issue with this year of car design. The garage guy said that for this car exclusively 2010 to 2013 they are changing transmitting at least one per day. Now when I went to Cars dealer they said another tale that there was an internal failure in 3rd gear!!! Different tale for different day might be. This is silly that a transmitting would have to be changed this soon? Is that a issue with this year/model car? Please recommend me guy whether I should go with authorized dealer or Local garage??

After driving little bit of offroad my Hyundai santa fe 2009 model is showing the paint chipping and peeling off from engine hood and roof are. Not sure if this is bad paint job quality from hyundai or only my car has a bad luck. I have seen another Hyundai car in my parking having similar issue, off course its a road car: elantra and not offroad so I am now in more doubt that, that paint chipping happen in offroad drive or because of bad paint job. or excessive heat in this region.....? Can anyone please suggest a cheap and good paint workshop in dubai or in sharjah......?

Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering have revealed the most-powerful 2016 Tucson ever created, built by the powertrain gurus at Bisimoto Engineering for upcoming 2015 SEMA in Las Vegas. Following up on their high-performance takes on the Sonata, Genesis Coupe, and Elantra GT of past years, hopefully this can gain some attention to the Tucson now.

Hello guys, This is I believe my first post in the forum although I've been a member for couple of years and reading others posts passively. I need to ask you if you know a good (not Juma Majid) service center in Sharjah (preferable) or Dubai that offers good Hyundai service at an affordable price. My wife's car Sonata 2009 is obviously out of warranty, and the Petrol Gauge and the Engine Temperature Gauge are not functioning (Petrol gives wrong reading and Temperature is not working at all), I took it to Juma Majid and they said the whole cluster unit should be replaced (estimated cost is 2,500 AED), the whole car value is 20,000 something, and the car is not heavily driven (less than 15,000 km per year, we're around end of 2015 and the car has a bit over 60,000 km on the odometer), yet I still prefer to have it fixed (especially engine temperature), also I wouldn't mind having the gas pump checked as the throttle is not responsive sometimes. Thank you all in advance for your valuable feedback

Hyundai took a very nice crack and made its first luxury coupe. Design is quiet overwhelming and not suiting the brand profile, but seems very polish and rich like Aston Martin and Maseratti brand marquee. Hyundai definitely wants to get more into the building of luxury cars, but seems unsure about what route to take after Azera, Genesis and Centennial.
