Judging by the crowd, enthusiasm and positive feedback from this Fridays drive, I'm pleased to announce the upcoming drive on Friday morning to let more people experience the magic of driving in the sands of UAE. This drive was supposed to be a fewbie drive, however depending on the ability of the convoy we can easily make it to a newbie level. What will you be able to achieve from such a drive is the confidence and knowledge of what you are capable of and at the same time What your 4x4 is capable of. When : 3 February 2017 at 7:30 am Where : Emirates Petrol station on Lahbab Round About. GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/akLQg3HebCq Level of drive: Newbie/Fewbie Plan: Drive followed by breakfast. What to bring along: Breakfast, water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time : 11 AM Note : Drive level can be changed if we have beginners in the desert to suit the level of the convoy.

Dear All, I will be joining Emarat 4x4 for an early morning Absolute Newbie Drive in the desert in Kalba/Maliha Area. The meeting point is the Adnoc pump on the Sharjah to Kalba highway at 6 am. As the name suggests its for anyone who has never been to the desert and would like to experience and learn more about off-roading, this is not going to be challenging or a fast paced drive. So anybody interested is most welcome to join me, my mobile number is 050 674 9099 https://goo.gl/maps/kxma9UeUzAA2

I was wondering if any of the members here would like to try desert driving. To introduce myself, I have been an avid off-roader for the past 8 years and I have all the desert equipment ready in my vehicle. If anyone is interested to have a short drive in the desert just for the experience I will be more than happy to have it early in the morning at about 6 am when it is nice and cool so that we can finish off by 8:30 or 9 am. All that the participants would require would be a tire deflator, a tire pressure gauge and preferably a UHF radio, all these are available from Dragon Mart at a Reasonable rate. So if anyone is interested please post your interest here and I will take it from there. I will however require at least 1 more experienced hand to help me sweep the drive.
