ANNOUNCEMENT Recall Campaign Statement: Battery Check RENAULT SYMBOL MODEL YEAR 2017 / 18 In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy-Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Renault Middle East announces a Recall Campaign for the Renault SYMBOL 2017 & 2018 models which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 11th July, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles distributors of Renault in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Renault Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 1319 vehicles from August 2016 in the UAE. On some potentially affected Symbol vehicles, the battery may not meet Renault Design Standards. Renault has decided to check and where necessary replace the Battery at no cost to the customers. In the Interest of delivering the quality and customer care highest Standards of Renault, Arabian Arabian Automobiles and AIMasaood Automobiles will beg in contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps. For further clarification customers may contact the Arabian Automobiles Customer Care Centre on 800Renault (8007362858) and AI-Masaood Automobiles Customer Care Centre on +971-24492596 from 8.00am-7.00pm, Saturday to Thursday.
