I'm so sorry guys but I can't go. I’m feeling sick all night. I must have catched some kind of a kids's virus. @Looper I'm so sorry for this.

Many thanks @J-P L, it was an amazing drive, well balanced with open dunes to wakeup everyone, technical terrain for the focus, and the tight bowls and sharp ridges of Little Sweihan for the thrill to finish ! You managed perfectly the lines and the timing making it a very fun and enjoyable morning ride! Great support and guidance from @ChrisW and @Rob S, and great company from @Ahmed Farouk and @Chema

I would like the members in the support roles to join the group ride on https://sandscope.net/gpxapp/ our ride code will be NB0309. It does not need any install. Others can join as well if you like. I will announce when we start the drive to join the drive. PS: I am a newbie as well in this drive, because it will be my first drive on the stock unmodified LC 300. I have taken it into sand just a couple of time but never as a drive.

Thank you to all who attended, the small size and skill of the convoy let us cover about 70lm. We first went towards al Faqqa arboretum and explored the larger dunes, then after a short break headed towards some technical dunes followed by a brief run through little sweihan, exiting at the Solar park side at qudra. Everyone drove well and i appreciated the support in getting off a crest (twice 😎). thanks to Chris for letting me lead this and Jerome for his advice, Rob was handy with his shovel and Chema and Ahmed drove well.

Drive is now locked. We are going to play 'musical chairs' for Second Lead tomorrow. Every time we take a break, we will change it up. This will give everyone a chance to try out more untouched sand,,.. and more churned sand.. and see how it effects your vehicles etc. Team work / Team play!

Looks like a fun filled drive. Looking forward to it @_luke_

Our waitlist has emptied out! 7 cars total, a Short, Fast & Nimble convoy for a fun track. Our drive briefing is as follows: Start at Al Yahar,... warm up the cars doing some climbs on the dunes in front of the villas. From here we will work our way to the north east.. doing some low-height ridge riding and switching to get the feel for how we will be swinging our cars around. Then, the main course.... we head up, VERTICALLY, into the big dunes... expect plenty of switches, plenty of ridges, plenty of big climbs, amazing vistas, and lots of G-FORCES 😎 See you deflated, ready for official briefing, and pumped to go at 07:00 on channel 10 When the big dunes are calling, we can't wait around. Be on time or you will go home crying 😭 haha @Myrko @Noufal @Infaz @Riyad @Danie @Beide Worku I will post the convoy order tonight, or around 05:00.

Hi @Looper brother, good morning. sure will go through the video. Yes, I have been to desert a couple of times. Luckily your first drive as Marshal also I attended as passenger

@DLobel & @ZEESHAN MIRZA since it is your first drive with Carnity please see this video. Do you have any previous experience in driving in the desert?

Thanks for coming out last night everyone. It was a nice chill drive except for that beetle trying to get into my boot. We turned the pace up a notch and had some very nice sand splashing action. Everyone drove at a high pace with authority over the dunes. Also big thanks for winching my car off the crest. I'm sure I would have self recovered in a few more seconds.... 😎 See you all again soon @Piotr. @Hani crest king @ChrisW

It's been absolut pleasure seeing and driving with you all. It's indeed a terrain that test and refine all our skills and you all did great specially how we all as a family looked out for each other! Great to meet and driving with you @Jerome for the first time. @Frans M, thanks for the great support and taking the 2nd lead duties. I can only imagine how challenging it was driving behind me in this terrain and having to make last minute changes to smoothen up the line for the rest of the convoy. We all had someone who's been reassuring at back, making sure we are all together and giving support whenever is needed. Thanks @Beide Worku! Definitely night drive comes with it's challenges, I can't agree more with @Enrico - Mountain, keeping the convoy flow, momentum and adequate distances at different sections are key. I look forward to seeing you all again on the sand soon!

Thanks @_luke_ for bringing back night drives. The weather (and night sky) was amazing and driving with open windows was great until I got hit by a large blast of sand 🫣, but even that was fun. @ChrisW it was good to see you and thanks for keeping an eye for us from the back. @Hani crest king was a pleasure to drive with you and your friend. See you at the next drive.

Definitely looking forward to! Solid convoy! 🫡

A bit sleepy the day after but totally worth it! Thanks again @Sam Selim
  21. Amazing how I was able to pull @Hartzel up and over the dune. 😆shhh, fiction is always better than the truth.
  22. until

Thank you @Sam Selim for arranging this drive, although a daunting one, I was surprised by how well I was able to manage the challenges. Nighttime does bring a different element, especially at FB+ level where momentum has to be kept for longer stretches in climbing dunes. Although I have some extra lighting, I may need to get some more as blind dark spots come up fast, especially when you have to turn quickly and do cross-over cresting. Keeping the right amount of distance is a fine skill and it does make a difference knowing not only the momentum needs of your car, but those in front and behind you as well, as often the actions you take affects others and the flow of the convoy. Still, lots to learn but enjoying it immensely.
