Thank you @Frederic It was such a useful training session and had great fun throughout.. Really enjoyed supporting @Ishak and @Giacomo (both newbies). It also shows their skills in deliberately getting stuck and making it look like they actually need support!! Appreciate everyone who joined and made the training so much fun. The little Sweihan drive was fantastic. Absolutely loved it!! Now waiting for an IM drive from you Fred. 😎
  5. Congrats @Rachid 💥

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed this session on a sunny Sunday afternoon We started with some theory in the shadow of a nearby tree. Focusing on what is generally expected from a Support Team role, how we work together as a team, and how we can take extra precautions when dealing with fire or first aid situations. After about an hour, we hopped into our cars and moved into a technical area which was slow but was good fun, even with a Dodge Ram @Infaz who managed it extremely well. @Ishak was our Newbie yesterday and tried giving us some challenges and tantrums but nothing the team couldnt handle. After the technical area we moved into Little Sweihan. An area where constant momentum is needed but instant satisfaction is given We had some good fun but could see the sun slowly setting, so we decided to loop back through the Baja track and exited at the same Faqa road where we started. All in all, a great afternoon with great people! See you all soon again!

Hi All, thanks @Looper for great drive, it’s been a while since my last trip to pink rock and bid red. Great lines great terrain and pace, at some points it provided fewbie taste! So well done everyone! @Harish M great progress in confidence through the drive, nevertheless please stay calm and listen to the instructions if you are being recovered. thanks @Zulfikhar Naiyar and @Rachid for help recovering this guy in Porsche, they had a kid in the car so we could not left them behind. I advised the guy not to alone and play stupid games. Introduced him to Carnity as well. thank you all! See you in sands

Thank you so much gentlemen, I really appreciate your feedback. As leads, this is exactly the kind of feedback from everyone and especially our support we hope to see. It allows us to improve and adjust wherever possible. @JeromeFJ, again amazing leader whom I learnt a great deal from. Thank you for joining this drive, amazing second lead duties and advices. What thorough feedback @Rob S, I don't have much to stay after that! Thank you for your support and keep up the great work! @Sergio del Rio, indeed our star of the day! Congratulations on your first FB drive, you really have driven this BAIC beautifully through and above those nice dunes and ridges. Fair to say: you smashed it! Well done mate! @jamil abdollah & @khurramm, it's always a pleasure seeing and driving with you guys. Look forward to more driving with you! Last but not least, our surprise and great mentor @M.Seidam, It's indeed a great pleasure having you in my convoy. I always learn something new whenever you get the little truck out for demos.

Carnity Off-Road Club Drive Description Join us for a Faqqa drive led by our emerging lead @J-P L, with @ChrisW in support. Starting from the Faqqa meeting point, we’ll head into the area facing towards the solar tower, where the dunes open up into long-range runs mixed with proper technical terrain, crests, side slopes and some tight bowls to keep everyone on their toes. We’ll link sections using the desert tracks for faster, Baja-style transits between dune fields. If time and energy allow, we’ll finish with some playtime in the Little Sweihan area before heading back to tarmac. Hi @Looper, I missed the drive, I had a personal emergency and I could not find a place for the last minute RSVP on the site. My apologies and hope to make it for the next drive.

@ChrisW - thank you for jumping in for @_luke_ (hope you got home without further delays) - and taking us through the dunes in the opposite direction, so we could learn the different techniques of driving with/against the Sun. I really enjoyed the drive yesterday with the various terrains and speeds. Everyone drove really well, good to see the learning, techniques and confidence coming together enabling us to do such enjoyable drives! P.s - @Piotr., we also tested today the importance of having eyes all around 😜👍 Got home almost at 20:00 after the afternoon drive, so clearly had a “from dawn till dusk” drive yesterday 🤪

  19. Thank you Fred! Really proud to reach Fewbie level with Carnity Offroad Club. A big thanks to the marshals and everyone who supported me along the way. I'm looking forward to growing further, and I'll be happy to pass on what I've learned to help others enjoy offroading safely, just as I was helped. See you soon in the sand! Thanks so much @Looper! It's been a pleasure learning from you. Looking forward to many more drives together!
