  7. Go for stock rims, they are BEST. After market will def get problem if its cheaper one from shj. Better get stock ones new for long life, if find it expensive then buy from scrap or used thru dubizzle.

  9. If you are a good mechanic do it or else look for some professional. The timing belt drives the water pump. Set the engine on top dead center. Align the timing marks, use white marker to mark their position Remove the fan belt and then fan. Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the thermostat housing assembly. Remove the fan belt bracket. Remove the timing cover. Remove the two camshaft pulleys. Remove the back plate of the timing cover. You can now get to the water pump.
  10. i have a leaking water pump. can anybody tell me how to change it thanks
  11. u knw the answer and its good guess work. First fuel filter and then pump.
  12. CHeck all the fuses and relay and then jump to speedometer testing. How old car is and how many kms u driven, may be we cud guess better.
  13. Get the brake pads and brake drum just visually checked by decent mechanic and then hand brake wire isnt over tight by some over ambitious mechanic. If all is fine, diagnose the brake pistons it might be working hard but its unlikely.
  14. Get brake adjusted from same mechanic (play in the pedal) who have changed the brake pads. If he cant, then it may be the brake piston is dying and not holding enuf pressure.

  19. Check if the heater has been unplugged by previous owner or the heater switch is working fine. As car heater uses the engine heat thru radiator and heat up the cabin, no much A/C or A/C compressor job. check the switch its gone bad and not switching to hot mode. About hissing noise, identify the side its coming and then remove the door inside beading and refix it nicely. If needed fix beading with little bit of silicone inside and it will seal that air leak, easy.
  20. i am having a very strange issue wid my car. 1st when i switch on the heater, there is no heat only cool air so i fill up the gas and the same issue 2nd and last even when my car doors r closed there is a hissing noise coming from the door. can i fix this your early reply is thankfull

  24. today my car turned 1 month old and i already have a problem what happed was that while driving on shk zayeed road on 80kmph i hear three clicks from underneath the car. Usually happens after a couple seconds of the car being off. it sounded like some sort of an actuator. Any ideas fellow soul owners
  25. Best way to start is to find the current engine SPECIFIC dimensions and see what housing goes in which direction (like gear, radiator, axle etc) and then match online for same with given criteria. As per sourcing used good condition engine, shj have loads of scrap you can get one for 2000 - 5000 aed. And installation within 1000 aed. Good luck.
