Timing belt is supposed to be changed every 80k km - 100k kms irrespective of number of years.
If car is still in warranty then they should able to fix this this issue and check all the wiring, harness and plastic sockets behind dahboard if something is getting burnt or melt in that area.
Its a feature of central lock if it has sound or not. If your current (stock) central lock doesnt come with sound then you can upgrade to the one that has sound. I remember buying Cobra and Auto copx few year back that has sound while lock/unlocking the car.
And dont buy from deira naif, as they sell cheaper xenon that has crooked alignment and might blind other side traffic attracting fines. Buy from Yellow hat, they are good.
The electronic stability control (ESC) light popping on is another common problem found in the Kia Sportage. The ESC function is supposed to stabilize the remaining three tires if one becomes disabled, however, the light is not supposed to be on constantly.
