  1. sounds like you guys had a great trip! looking forward to joining the next one.
  2. i have everything, except i stored it earlier in Al dhaid in a warehouse. i have a shovel, deflator, flag, radio, jack, pressure gauge, synthetic rope and shackles, etc.. i couldn't reach the warehouse however today and so i have at the moment. will see you all on the next Friday drive for sure though. cannot be more excited and i apologize for cancelling on such short notice! have a lovely trip and be safe.
  3. lovely thread, too bad not many people are participating! i have a couple of videos i think from earlier that i can share here, even photos of stucks with my own car hope it will bring the thread back to life my question will be, how to self recover from such stuck though? low gear and moving the steering in different directions did not work for example. what would be the next move? where to dig ? where to steer. it is a tricky angel and i feel a wrong recovery may flip the vehicle.
  4. i am missing a few things so i will have to cancel today. how can i change my RSVP though?
  5. yes!! how silly of me.. i did not do step 7 at all. it should be working fine now! much appreciated
  6. Thank you! already programmed all 5 channels. is it normal however that when you press the PTT button the frequency on the screen will change? i feel like my recieving frequency and my transmitting frequency are different. not sure if however this is how it should be. for example now i am on channel one and the screen shows frequency of 446.006.25 when i click PTT 462.887.50 comes up on the screen.
  7. Hi, i will be joining my 1st drive with the group soon. due to COVID 19 restrictions i understand that we cannot get off our cars so all the communication will be done through radio from the starting point. what radio frequency should i set in advance to communicate in drives? is it a fixed frequency in all drives? thanks.
