Very good and correct observation @Marketa Dobesova. As he didn't reverse the vehicle after the first pull, that's why he was about to get stuck himself. Later he realized that and reversed and also change the track a little bit to not go in the same pit again. As he seems very well-versed in off-road, my observation is he must have tried this thinking that they are on a harder surface like of beach or sabka little soft sand. In dunes, you will surely get stuck with this approach, but on beach sand or sabka you can/may get away.

Hi @Misha Puskar can you share the details of your existing tire (size, brand and year) along with some pics to further advice you more appropriately? Also, share your current usage of your Jeep, is it only an off-road toy or office+off-road vehicle? While off-roading are you only driving on sand or going to mountains often?

As usual, I always recommend driving stock setup as far as possible and then deciding for yourself what you really "need" than "want" based on peer pressure, commercials and marketing guys. This way not only you will save money but also value the mod who really brings good value (20%), and end up automatically filtering the fluff (80%). Secondly, the less you tinker, the safer, more reliable and more comfortable you will drive. Thirdly, double-check with the dealership on what all mods you can consider without voiding the warranty.

Stick with JL (3.6 pentastar engine) that started from 2017 onward, which is much more reliable and powerful than previous 2007-2012 (JK models) and 2012 - 2016 (JK with 3.6 pentastar). Other Jeep owners, please correct me if my JL understanding isn't correct. If not in rush, buy after April so you will get a sweet deal when summer kicks in (off-season for off-road cars) from May - Aug. Also during the school end season (June - July) when many ex-pats relocate. Buying any off-road vehicle during the peak season (Oct - March) will cost at least 15-20% extra. So waiting for a month or two now will save you good money, which later you can use for restoring the used vehicle to bring it to top-notch desert-worthy condition. You can spend this time, test drive 2-door, 4-door, gladiator (pickup style), etc to make up your mind.

Totally agree on Rubicon, you cant go wrong with that choice. Just consider sizing accordingly, 4 door (more space, if you need) vs 2 door (more fun as an awesome climber).

Just kidding, with so much electrical wiring, I have a wish to someday clear all and make them as tidy as possible, someday...!

Thanks, @Fabien Monleau @Melenany @Waqas Parvez and @Looper for brilliant and endless support today with a very struggling and difficult drive from the beginning and with an on-site quick fix to get Trailblazer out. Thanks, everyone for your patience and cooperation, today's drive really marks the importance of team sport that we keep repeating on every briefing. For the few of you, who were there with me two weeks back in Lisaili must be appreciating the huge contrast in two drives at the same place with the same lead but with totally different end results. We barely covered half of km today which we usually do due to constant challenges and situations but hope to see you all soon in the sand with good spirits for the next one. Have good weekend ahead.
