Changing the Halogen to Legal white
sandeep replied to steroydz's topic in Mazda General Discussion Forum in UAE
White light is legal no problem at all. If you switch to xenon make sure you buy expensive ones not 400-500 dhs deira style that have incorrect road alignment and will make it illegal. WHite light shouldnt cost more than 40-50 dhs for Osram and GE 55w lamps. -
Never trust scrap dynamo 100%, buy with guarantee and be ready to to change until working one found. If you put right dynamo, no battery light should be on. Thats a big indicator that battery is depleting charge due to no dynamo is recharging it. Simple. Once you have working dynamo then music player will also play, may be its not playing due to low voltage from battery weak charge...My thought. Let us know how it go. Good luck.

How come 5 dynamo not working. Are you buying from scrap??? then buy the new one original. Or get the full electrical check thru good electrician. There must be some battery or dynamo big fuse is short which is making look like dynamo is faulty.

Mazda 6 headlight restoration
sandeep replied to steroydz's topic in Mazda General Discussion Forum in UAE
You can do it yourself by using "scratch out"rubbing compound available in eppco emarat for 15 derhams. Or leave car and 100 derhams to any body workshop garage in rashidiya or al quoz. -

Which Mazda you prefer: Used vs. new and why?
sandeep replied to MazdaDxb's topic in Mazda General Discussion Forum in UAE
New is always better, you get full warranty backed up by Galadari Motors in Dubai and you just fill up and drive n enjoy. Isnt it better? -
First and foremost this is not Mazda shop giving you pricing, its the owner community (so you get and accept advises correctly). I had Mazda 3 for 2 years and its maintainence is very nominal and parts are also not very expensive as compare to other brands like Toyota and Mitsubishi. You might spend 1000 - 2000 max in whole year in maintenance if you drive around 20000km per year (ballpark figure). Mazda 6 is slightly more expensive but all more fun than Mazda 3, thats what i upgrade to and advise you to extend your reach with an inch extra and you will have whole new experience of Mazda 6: what company calls real zoom zoom. Its really great and WORTH it man. Rest up to, my friend.

Special is 95 octane and Super is 98 Octane. All cars should use anything more than 92 octane, so evidently both super and special is more than your car need and they both are good. Super will burn an inch better than special due to higher octane content will also give you slightly better horsepower and slightly better fuel mileage. Thats it.

Water is coming out from behind the engine
sandeep replied to sharmaraj's topic in Mazda 3 Forum in UAE
You mean the water from exhaust is coming in form of tiney droplets???? Thats a good sign of healthy engine that fuel is getting burnt properly and exhaust vapour turns into water droplets. Its its more than tiny droplets at exhaust then you should be worried, it will also appear with tremeoundous power loss which will be enough to tell you that there is something wrong with your car. -
Check for the faulty motor or the rail on which it runs. Opening the door panel and having a look inside woyld be the best step to start diagnose why its getting stuck.

Mobil 1 makes the best oil, indeed its better than Mazda oil for sure.

CX9 Alarm over 120km/h, possible to turn OFF
sandeep replied to mask's topic in Mazda CX Forum in UAE
In all newer cars in all brands this thing is inbuilt behind the In dash music player (as a security feature), beeper is nicely hidden to sound like 3D sound. If somehow you reach and disable, Galadhari is right then all sounds and alarm will also be disable, makes no sense. What you can prolly do is pull the dash unit and reach behind to the beeper and tape it nicely, that might help in reducing noise (my guess). -
CONVERSION from TRADITIONAL LIGHTS to HID XENON
sandeep replied to Vasih's topic in Mazda CX Forum in UAE
Dealers are stealers anyways, 6k is a laugh. ROTL But 400 one must be too cheap. If buy aftermarket buy some good comapny one like Bosch or Hella as these cheap ones might blind the in coming traffic and police will fine you with 2000 aed. Google Bosch dealer here and buy original ones, shouldnt cost more than 1000 - 1500 dhs. Get it installed at any decent workshop, its no rocket science in installation. -
You can bleed fuel line with shrader valve in engine bay.

Downshift is attached to the speed and always restricted after certain speed intervals. For ex: you can only downshift to 1st gear if you are driving below 20 kmph.

Why my Mazda 2 stalls when backing out from accelerator?
sandeep replied to gange's topic in Mazda 2 Forum in UAE
Need tune up I guess and adjust the rpm so that it doesn't stall. Provided car is well serviced and have no other issues. -
Gear must not be engaging. Why not remove battery for 5 mins and try engaging it again. If still fails I think better you seek some gear expert.

Mazda 2 is consuming more fuel then it should Why?

Mazda 3 2006 needs servicing, what needs to be changed?
sandeep replied to jayant's topic in Mazda 3 Forum in UAE
The oil of the car has to be changed as well as the filters. Ask the mechanic if he sees anything else needs to be changed.
