  1. Appreciate if someone can share the known acquaintance or contact of experienced shop for sourcing a metal bumper for FJ Cruiser and also get additional bash plate sorted with neat fabrication and reasonable pricing. Is TJM or Bush ranger offroad bumpers available in Dubai or in UAE as I have seen few bush ranger products like sand matts and compressor at ACE hardware but never seen any offorad bumper. Any clue is highly appreciated fox. Thx.

  2. From the news what it looks is legal, provided you register driver and cars with RTA app of Sharekni. This is how I read it and I agree Kris inital comment that we have been hearing a lot in news about fining improper car lifts, car pooling in past. I think this is the answer for those issues of past from RTA to make this alliance secure and safe for all.

  3. Dude, it also could be possible with those shitty gel based air freshener left in car for long time locked in direct sunlight. I had similar case when I went for vacation and came back open the car and almost fainted with pukish smell of those small round tin based gel air freshener.......!

  4. I am really confused as I can't find any solid info to how to find out if my car is GCC specs or not? As in market lot of myth about GCC specs and people overcharge for same but what is the way to find out one....?

Word from previous owner shouldn't be holy words as he may be wrong or have been fooled in the past.

  5. Fan clutch is the main auto parts when one talks about the temperature of the car. Fan clutch is really important to avoid any heat in the car. Since a driver drives the car in heat, the car is tend to produce heat in the system and fan clutch helps in maintaining the moderate temperature in the car. So fan clutches are of two types: One is thermal and second is non-thermal.

Thermal fan clutches works as per the temperature is the car. They are connected with thermostatic valve which helps in judging the temperature in the car. Let’s not go deep into the terms, I will explain you in simple words. There are coil springs in the engine which opens and closes as the temperature is the engine starts varying. Let’s say, if the engine is cold, the drain valve opens and the oil is sent back into the reservoir and also the speed of the fan goes down. And if the engine is hot, the drain valve contracts and inlet valve opens which increases the speed of the fan. So basically, thermal fan clutch works with the thermostatic valve in the engine system.

Non-thermal fan clutch is way cheaper and long lasting than thermal fan clutch. This works with the hydraulic pressure that increases/decreases with engine’s temperature. When the engine is too hot, the hydraulic pressure reaches to its highest point and thus increases the speed of the non-thermal fan clutch.

This is how the fan clutch works in engine, in simple words. Which is better if you ask, it’s off course thermal fan clutch because they are more accurate and quick. The speed of the fan is accurate per seconds in thermal fan clutch, but non-thermal fan clutch takes time to adjust with the temperature if the engine.

  6. Ok. For power, the colors of wire will be yellow, red, black, blue, blue/white and light blue. Yellow is for memory with 12v(+) constant

Red is for ignition with 12v (+) switched

    Black is for ground (-)

    Blue is for power antenna

    Blue/white is for amplifier turn-on

And Light blue is for phone mute. (This is an exception wire only if you are using Sony stereo)

  7. To test the accessory socket, you just need the circuit tester and test light. There are two frames in the accessory socket. Attach the test light to the outer frame of the socket and the long end of the tester to the inner frame of the socket until it touches to the back. If the test light blows, it mean the fuse is ok. But if the lights don’t blow, then the fuse of your car is gone. You need to get it replaced
