Does your vehicle have front and back tow points and are they in perfect condition ? As a perfect preparation for your first drive with us, please go through the Absolute Newbie Briefing video posted below which really helps in getting you to understand the first basic essentials, so please watch it with full attention: MUST WATCH: NEWBIE VIDEO BRIEFING For your first drive, please bring a tire pressure gauge and a deflator so you can deflate your tires. These are readily available in hardware shops. If you do have off-road gear such as a flag, shovel, recovery rope or others, please bring it along as well. If you have a UHF Radio you can bring it along, and program it to the Carnity Frequencies as per the below post. If you don't have radio we will provide spare radio to use. From the second drive onward you need to get your own radio.

You will learn to self-drive your vehicle from experts having decades of off-roading experience in the UAE. This area offers a good mix of playable long set of dunes and broad ridges to test your off-road control. Drive is open for all 4x4/4WD/SUV/AWD vehicles having 8-10 inches of ground clearance and (MANDATORY) Front and rear tow hooks (MANDATORY) What you'll learn: Introduction to off-roading. Desert driving basics and etiquette. Desert driving tips, techniques, myth and best practices. Off-road and safety gear familiarization and recovery procedures. Vehicle orientation, risk analysis, deflation and outdoor safety advice. First time with Carnity Off-road Club: Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Year. Do you have any prior off-road experience? Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks / eyelets. Why should i join? We will teach you how to self-drive off-road safely and learn the best offroad driving and recovery techniques. If you have already driven in sand before then you can learn more from experts having decades of offroading experience in the UAE. Can i bring passengers ? Yes of course, but if you are absolute new to offroading it is better to drive alone first to avoid any distractions.   7. Thank you all for joining the drive. It was fun filled drive with amazing driver's. We all met on time and after quick deflation and short safety reminder we headed to explore khatim desert. Due to movement restriction in Abu Dhabi Emirates we planned to meet at 6am one hour late than our normal meeting time. I always spend some time to plan convoy position prior to drive. This time it took me few seconds to decide. I set the position as per the RSVP and it was a good call.@Naveen Raj was in second lead and followed my instructions precisely at all time and i was amazed to know that this was your first fewbie drive. @Josh T.with his monster GMC truck at third position was cutting all the ridges into half on its way which made easy for the others behind him. @Zed @Karthikeyan Govindarajan @Hasan Wahlan @Mus_hus78 @Farouq Owdeh You guys deserve the praise.. awesome performance. Ridge riding was just a peice of cake for you guys really commendable. See you all soon.
