    Yes, The Studio One Hotel is now having an Irish Village, Mr. Miyagi's, and some other stuff. It's the nearest thing to my place on Al Qudra.

    So happy to see this @Atif ! I've put my first steps in the sand driving behind you a number of times, and you always impressed me with how relaxed and composed you drive. You find the perfect balance of throttle and that Prado should be grateful with you as it's driver. PS the Karak Chai canteen might have helped a bit 😉

    Congrats @Brette ! We started around the same time last year if I remember correctly. Your black beast is a bit more complicated to tame than my little 'ol blue one, but you persevered and that shows in your well deserved upgrade !

    Super Congrats @Shamil !! Saw you joining us as a humble fellow who always wanted to learn, and took his steps gently in the sand as it should be. Your consistence in joining the drives during the long hot summer has created confidence and experience, and this is grade is well deserved ! I read you enjoyed the sweep duties with @Gaurav on the last drive. Being a part of the sweep team and guiding other new-joiners will give you a satisfaction that will be the cherry on the cake.     I am guilty here too. Found a fantastic looking flower shirt in a shop in Barcelona, and according to my wife its CLEARLY a women's model. Oh well, we are 2019... 😂 I'd love to go @Barry. If you're planning and buying tickets and could use a sidekick, let me know.

    Just join on one of the newbie drives @sertac. With your experience, risk of damage on this drive level to a Grand Cherokee should be non-existent.

    In a Utopian future, everything will be auto-driven which will eradicate the risk of accidents. In a Dystopian future, we will be catapulted back a few hundreds of years and nature will have learned us a few nasty lessons. Mad Max style.

    It’s a sight I see every day and i just cannot believe to see that even people from so called first world countries are doing this. In their own country it is a major offense and will get you in serious trouble. I even never understood why people in big SUV’s think that they or their children will be safe from harm in an accident. Pure Stupidity...

    With my previous car I used to be in the fast lane all the time, and got anxiety attacks every now and then from all the people lane swerving and tailgating. With my 20y old car now, I take one of the middle lanes, switch on cruise control, and launch an Eagles’ album. 🎶 Take it easy !!!!! 🎵

    If it’s helps your green thoughts; the car wash has a recycling system so it can reuse of a lot of it’s water. I don’t get the body wash after every off-road drive. Just once in a while.

    The Xterra performs brilliant. Even the basic version will take you anywhere. @Emmanuel and @Shamil are perfect examples.

    Wonderful video. The fact that it takes him on adventures and he did lots of stuff himself shows he is a true off-roader by heart.

    I tried toothpaste and a restoration kit but did not have good results. Spoke to my mechanic and he came back with sandpaper and some water and took him only 15 mins to get it looking great again. Sandpaper was a 2000 but not sure.

    Now i would assume you whipped that mechanic across the head with a size 32 spanner ? Who will bear all the costs here ?

    I tried this system a few days back on the autobahn in Germany with an Audi A40 rental and it worked great. Here in the UAE with stupid lane swerving knobheads i can imagine it’s almost impossible to use.
