  1. Congratulations @M.Seidam @Looper for bringing out the best and delivering doses of adrenaline consistently to the convoys!! Well done @Naveen Raj @Rajiv Sam @DP1011 @Zed @Stumpy Pajfor exhibiting resilience and teamwork during tough times!!! Bravo!
  2. Hi @Deno Vikram welcome to the club! The gods of the club have already spoken !!! Here are my 2 cents Always use tiptronic/ manual shifting of gears while doing steep / mountain climbs including the gravel/ loose tracks… I personally prefer 4hlc during these drives however switch to 4l during descents. Use engine braking on your way down which makes it a lot easier on your brakes and control over your car. I am also curious if u deflate your tyres as well.. it’s best to go down to 25 psi on such terrain to reduce stress on transmission as well as disengage traction control to prevent wheel spin on loose gravel..
  3. Hi @Zulfikhar Naiyar,. A faulty thermal sensor could also send incorrect readings to dashboard making you believe that car is not that hot! … you have classic signs of engine overheating… loss of AC, loss of power… which returns to normal during On road drive… get following checked 1. radiator cap 2. thermostat 3. water pump 4. cleanup/ flushing radiator..
  4. Dear Dune surfers, @Gertjan@Imran Kashif@Krishna R @Charbel @Joseph Raju @Sunil Mathew @Bjoern @Chris Wing @Arda Yagcioglu @Morshedi Welcome to the drive . we will be starting as early as possible at dawn and plan to exit at around 8.30 am at the ghost town. This means we would eventually be going from high speed dunes to one of the most technical soft dunes available in Sharjah! please carry plenty of water, loads of patience and zest for adventure! see you all tomorrow flag up by 5.15 am! will post the convoy order shortly.
  5. Brilliant observations @Benjamin @DP1011… it also seems like the driver just stopped (took his foot off the gas or applied brakes).. a simple steer towards gravity and gas would have saved him! A “simple steer” is not so simple unless you’ve ingrained this in your driving reflex
