  1. Awesome news and we’ll deserved. Always a pleasure to drive with and always happy to help everyone!
  2. Thanks @Wrangeldfor the positive feedback ,happy I could be of use and thanks for leading us so well again. Also thanks to @Jeepieand@Alex Raptorfor the great support, as always a pleasure seeing you both in action. Was a different drive to recent for me as has been a while since I did a newbie. I won’t lie seeing the fewbies in the distant and the lines they took in Sweihan had me a little envious to say the least but I also thoroughly enjoyed the pace in the new area , assessing the desert and different shape of the dunes with its steep slopes and high wind banks something to be careful of in the future. Was a personal exploration drive in a way for me while taking part in a newbie convoy. Also enjoyed watching and learning the support team guide newbies through refusals and how advice was given to new comers in handling their 4x4’s in tricky situations . Something I hope to be able to assist with more in the distant future after completing my needed drives towards intermediate and beyond. We we’re lucky in the morning with mist and how it firmed up the sand but once it dried up and the sun came out I appreciated just how super soft the sand can be in the area , more so then Badayer I think, also how beautiful it is! I am absolutely gagging to get back out there. @mikaeel shaik great drive from you I heard that you are a capable driver and I also was very impressed with your handling of the MG in that super soft sand. @Nabeel Abdul Rahmani kept my eye on you the whole time and you handled your patrol really well today. Just remember to be careful in the rear of the convoy in the churned up sand , always requires a little more thought and attention when driving to where you are putting your vehicle. Also too, get your radiator protected soon but really nice drive from you . @Walter Palkfirst time I have seen A track in action! Brilliant, once you learn how to use that tool properly will be fantastic for you never seen or appreciated it before myself. Really impressed with it. Lovely morning all round thanks to everyone. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Safe driving all. Oh and I saw my first black camel, I didn’t even know the existed! 😍😁
  3. Thanks again @Foxtrot Oscar , was a really fantastic drive! Had a bit of everything, lovely sunset, 60km in less then 3 hours, and everyone in the convoy drove amazingly with hardly any refusals amd no issues, great peaceful after work drive! See you next Tuesday? 😂 @Gaurav Soniand @Hisham Masaadnice to drive with you guys finally.
  4. Thanks for organizing a midweek drive, I often wish we had more with carnity . After the crazy weekend of work it’s just perfect , and I’m so excited to do a sunset drive in one of my fav areas with like minded people! 😁😁 Cant wait
  5. Absolutely amazing and well done! That’s awesome news and a heart filled congratulations for you! Well done again and very much well deserved! 😁😁😁😊😊😊
  6. We went out in Qudra the other night for dinner, had a cook up, and I was shocked at the amount of critters I saw. Spiders , scorpions I know we are in their home but I just didn’t think about it or seeing them in those numbers. This was at sunset by 11pm the movement seemed to die down a bit. Boots not trainers next time! Trousers not shorts ! More lights so I can see where I’m stepping! 😂
  7. If I was a fewbie plus I’d be in this for sure! Sounds like will be challenging and fun 🤩
  8. @Gauravi think there some confusion on your part from my last message but I was agreeing (maybe I could of wrote it more clearly) with you and also understand they weren’t in the mkt here for a while. Anyway glad you like them too 😂👍🏾
  9. No Gaurav is right here, not the cheapest really but good none the less. It’s nice to have an AT tire that feels safe on road , as not sure about you but my car is an everyday drive as well as off road vehicle
  10. Hi Im running with the Michelin LTX Force not really tested that much in the region , but has great Australian reviews. When I was less experienced @Gauravcommented on them being very good. Since then I have driven a lot in them on and off the road and have a very high opinion of them. On road: They are quiet do not feel like an off-road tire / all terrain tire with fantastic grip in the rain and also dry dusty roads. I feel very safe with them at any speed. Really remarkable for an AT tire. Off road: I run the psi at 10.5 when off roading and yet to have had a pop out, they have a high soft side wall which provides excellent grip and surface area in the sand and honestly I have no traction issues in the slightest. I would not run with any other tire now for and all rounder I feel safe and happy on them on and off the road. Another benefit is that they are a lightweight also , and in tests have proven to keep the tread over excellent mileage. My only concern has been on our wadi adventures in Hatta due to the soft side wall and potential punctures but here I run the tire at 18-20 psi to combat this. No one seems to have mentioned them here but I would highly recommend. If you want a big gnarly looking cumbersome off road tire and are concerned on looks I wouldn’t choose these. In all honesty though they are a great AT tire that most importantly due a job and allow me to feel safe while doing it. Oh I drive on a 275/70/16 don’t go larger on the tire size 275 is perfect for our car. This experience I take from Avid Patrol drivers . 285 is suited for too the two door patrol , but on the 16 inch patrol rims 275 are perfect and provide a great and sufficient tread pattern . Unless of course you are turning your patrol into a monster truck
  11. @Alain Canivet-Abikhalili think he just really likes my socks brother. Maybe more then me 😂 , as long as at @Nikiis happy so am I 😍
  12. Been a while since I wrote here but guess been a while since I drove with carnity and was a pleasure. Mr @Wrangeld aka “Did you see my recovery”, even though you were hidden . Thank you again as always a pleasure to drive with you, seem to be my go to Stalk , I mean , Marshall…. Again lovely lines and really really enjoyed the drive and support. Great advice as always which I put into practice on my drive tonight. @Alex Raptor always fantastic to drive with you and have your support and advice, and seemingly unlimited supplies and tools in the raptor. I have some great pics of the you and the raptor if you would like, just grab my number. @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil second time I have seen you in 2nd lead and you drive your driving is really great as always 👍🏾 @munkybizness thanks for allowing me to fill my boots with sand! Only kidding honestly I think your being hard on yourself. As you mentioned and others its just the the throttle control I could see but it’s easily solved . Although we both have a very capable car we do have differences from stock in our models due to the years and I did just replace the shocks which has made a huge difference. But you very drove well and it was so soft even more so at the back once churned up. Everyone else on convoy was a great drive and very much enjoyed it! Oh @Niki , I did get dressed in the dark brother and although they are not my wife’s socks I have a selection of luminescent socks, makes up for the lack of lights 😂. I will continue to wear them on drives you are on hopefully next time with my padded spandex for you and continue to impress you. Maybe I should put it at the top of my pole, flag pole. Very much enjoyed your company and driving at the back with @Pierre de Maigret thanks again . See you guys around
  13. My instagram is Abu_Tizou the pics will be on there once it’s done I’m sure and the suspension is on. . Feel free to follow
  14. @munkybiznessthey fit I’m getting them put in Thursday with a couple of Baja design spots also
  15. No need to give any lighting ideas as there is an array of info here! However as a fellow patrol owner I wouldn’t block the airflow to the vehicle. Winter will be fine but if your driving as much as I do now in the summer then you’ll notice it’ll be best not reduce the flow of air as on long hard drives the engine temp can increase, and you will need to take time out to reduce the temp as your driving.
