Recall Campaign Statement: Fuel Tank NISSAN PATHFINDER MODEL YEAR 2016
In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy—Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, NISSAN Middle East announces a Recall Campaign for the NISSAN PATHFINDER 2016 models which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 20th February, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles distributors of Nissan in the UAE, released the following statement:
Following communication with NISSAN Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 179 vehicles from MY 2016 in the UAE.
On some potentially affected Pathfinder vehicles, the fuel tank may not meet Nissan Design Standards.
NISSAN has decided to replace the Fuel Tank at no cost to the customers.
In the Interest of delivering the quality and customer care highest Standards of NISSAN, Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps.
