Hi Emanuel, hope you’re well. I’ve returned home this evening and found out I’ve been let down with a failed delivery of a flag for the back of the Jeep. The company delivering it say they delivered the item but that’s not the case, I’ve arranged for another delivery and hope it will be here in time for the morning. In the event that the item doesn’t arrive, would it still be ok to join tomorrow as an exception? Thank you…Richard

Please check all the links and the new comer video at the top of page 1 of this drive post. There is a link there for Flap pole requirements. At this hour before the drive in the morning, you'll likely only be able to get a suction cup mount one. These are generally unreliable and typically fall off. Although some members manage to get good ones and get a good technique to keep them on even during more advanced drives.

Hello Emmanuel, thanks for the welcome I have a ford raptor R 2023 equipped with a twin piston ARB Compressor and a water tank and some extra flood lights. Two hooks on the front and back confirmed and I also have a kinetic towing rope with two shackles. ill grab a flag pole mount and flag today. If you guys know where can I get a compatible mount that can be clipped on with no drilling I’d appreciate it. Otherwise looking forward to this drive! I’ve been off roading many times before however been a while, my most extreme drives were in the empty quarter in Saudi for a few days (had to take a couple of extra fuel barrels with us) and Liwa a few times. I always prefer to follow someone more experienced given the length of my car especially to gauge speed and angle of decent on sharp dunes I’ll check out the frequency you use on the radio and program mine in advance, I have a Motorola device, not the best but does the job in a 250-300m range I’d say.

Hi @Kushal Bhagchandani and welcome to the Carnity family. Thanks for joining the drive and it was good to speak with you earlier. Besides the equipment you already have, as a must you will need a flag and mount, a compressor with an inflator hose, and a tire pressure gauge. Since this is your very first drive, arrive early enough to take your time getting setup up and to ask for help as needed. Finally for now, please ensure you look through each of the links and watch the Newbie video at the beginning of this forum post (top of page 1). Welcome to the Carnity Community @Khalid Sharaf. Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow morning. In the meantime, tell us a bit about yourself, your car, and any previous offroading experience you may have. Also confirm you have front and rear tow hooks/recovery points, a programmable radio with Carnity channels programmed already, a safety flag and mount, compressor with inflator hose, tire deflator and pressure gauge.

Dear @Sebastian Nohse & @Eddie-Dune-Glider - Apologies, I will not be able to consider you for this drive, as the track, pace and overall drive is planned for slightly experienced FB+ members i.e Atleast 3FB+ Drives completed, and I see you for you this is first and second FB+ Drive respectively, hence am afraid - However, I assure you these types of drives I often repeat and am deftly looking forward to having you - Thanks for your understanding on this one !

Dear Desertnauts @J-P L, @Eddie-Dune-Glider, and @Rajath Shetty. Thanks for joining the drive. No need for a lenghty briefing. I'll post the meeting point in the drive's thread; in any case it will be December 2nd Cafeteria, just off of Pink Rock. We'll improvise the convoy on the spot but still make sure to reach and deflate so we may start as close to 3:30 as possible. See you all tomorrow to enjoy a quick and compact convoy.
