if the traction control light comes up but cant find any change in the car, can it be that maybe it is just the sensor is faulty or i should take it more seriously?

TC control the traction control in case you loose the traction.

If light is lit, dont do any crazy stunts (donuts, high speed cornering) and you will be fine.

TC light can come up due to faulty sensor, fuse, relay, loose socket or faulty ABS block (very expensive).

If no problem, keep driving. I drove same same condition car once for more than 1 year.
