fuel door icon keeps on poping

hi i have a weird problem today i went to refuel and my display keeps saying that the fuel door is still open. Occasionally it does turn off but returns. Has any one ever heard about this problem?

Open the fuel cap and close air tightly until you hear some clack clack from the fuel cap.

If not you need new fuel cap, it might have lost its air tight functionality.
