Bad radio reception

Hey guys, my 2006 Ford Edge in Dubai is having bad reception since a month now. When i go outside Dubai it becomes even more bad. Roaming in Dubai earlier it used to be good especially in between Sheikh zayed road (My office) and Deira side (Home). Now in these location it becomes bad. Is there is any issues going on in Dubai with bad radio frequency or is it my car???

If my car, where is the antenna socket in Ford edge so that i can check some connection or wiring issue myself. Appreciate your help.

Have you tried pulling out the radio and checking if the antenna lead is connected properly? It is possible that the lead might have gotten lose.

Thanks Josprod, i will go to satwa today and ask mechanic to check the radio backside for any loose connection with antenna lead.

Tell me if the mechanic has been able to fix it. In any case, I am sure it is a simple thing for them to fix. You might want to check the actual antenna as well if there are any dents, cuts or rust.
