how u clean the carbon in the engine using fuel injectors

I've looked around and found alot of useful info for my fuel injectors but i am still in doubt. How do you remove the orings and what about the pintles, can they be removed and reinstalled?? How? What happens if you don't install them,( the pintels ) or only on half will my jeep run like crap or just blow up.it is the first time i will be using it so would really need some advice

How often is the Fuel Injectors changed?

My mechanic changed them 2 years back and now i have gone to a new mechanic as my mechanic is out of town and he says that they need to be changed.
