Please help me to identify the rare burning smell in AC

I m having Santa fe, which I bought it by year 2008. No problem till 2012. May be 3 months before, some rubber burning smell is coming through AC vents during only when the car is in direct sunlight and while raising the accelerator suddenly. It will come rarely and one time in a day only. I service center they couldn't able to identify the fault. They checked everything and found nothing. As per them it is normal. I don't know where to go and how to rectify this. Some body please help.

Get the HVAC duct inspected from good AC technician in Al quoz garage, they will open the dash and swim through to find a fault. It might cost few bucks but its good to check as that smell is of something burning....!

Its up to you to go to Hyundai service center or outside garage. Al quoz has many good garage in and around MOE, Hyundai service center backside, near oasis center.

sharjah BMW road have got few good garages too if you dont want to spend much and have enough time on your hand then i suggest you go tho them.

how did you know if the burning smell is rare or not?

there was a burning smell in my friends honda once were the engine caught fire as the radiator was leaking and the coolant leaked and was empty.

Well i would suggest first and foremost to check ur Ac filter/cabin filter. Change it first and if problem still persist then go for an Ac check up.
