Burning smell from AC vents

I have a 2011 KIA Sportage and I am getting a burning smell ( sort of plastic burning) from the AC vents whenever i accelerate immediately i.e when my rpm crosses above 3500. This lasts for a few mins and then the smell goes away. I had pointed out this in the KIA service center twice and i felt like they have reduced the pickup power, but the same problem is found to be repeating. Does anyone notice this kind of issue and is there any solution?

If car is still in warranty then they should able to fix this this issue and check all the wiring, harness and plastic sockets behind dahboard if something is getting burnt or melt in that area.

Not yet. I am planning to do the check in my next major service 60,000km. I think the KIA guys are aware of this issue as they are just reducing the Pickup power whenever i had pointed out.

Update us, whenever you get this fixed as its kind of weird issue and yet very interesting to watch.
