warning light

there is a warning that i get is traction overheat and then when I reach home and turned the car off.This morning the battery was dead and would not start. any idea what happened

range rover is quite notorious in throwing different fault code when battery is weak. Some also get faulty gear box

Change the battery and it will be fine.
