AUTOEMOTIONAL
WELCOME TO THIS ADVERT FOR WHAT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST VEHICLES HERE IN THE UAE. THIS IS A LAND ROVER DISCOVERY CAMEL TROPHY. IF YOU KNOW OF THESE VEHICLES, YOUR REALISE HOW RARE A FIND THIS IS! THIS CAMEL WAS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT BY THE ASSISTANT OF THE SHEIKH HERE IN DUBAI FROM THE MAIN LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP IN ABU DHABI. WHEN IT WAS NEW. IT WAS THEN BOUGHT BY THE LAST OWNER AND UNFORTUNATELY WAS NOT USED FOR SOME TIME. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND HAD IT TAKEN TO THE LAND ROVER SPECIALIST, TRIPLE AAA. THEY WERE SURPRISED AT HOW ORIGINAL THE CAR WAS AND SUGGESTED AFTER SOME TIME IT NEEDED A NEW FUEL TANK BEFORE ANY WORKS WERE UNDER TAKEN. I HAVE NOW HAD A BRAND NEW AED 9,500 FUEL TAKEN SUPPLIED AND FITTED BY AL TAYER MOTOR. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN GIVEN A ONCE OVER AND THE KEY TURNED....... AND SHE STARTED WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL! A CREDIT TO THE GUYS AT LAND ROVER, AL TAYER AND TRIPLE AAA. DUE TO A CHANGE IN CIRCUMSTANCES I AM NOW SADLY HAVING TO PUT THE CAR UP FOR SALE. I KNOW OF ONLY 3 OTHERS OF THESE CAMEL TROPHYS IN THE MENA REGION AND ONCE FULLY DONE THEY COMMAND A PRICE OF AED 40,000 UPWARDS. OF COURSE NO WARRANTY IS GIVEN OR IMPLIED WITH THIS CAR, HOWEVER I HAVE THE POSSESSION CERTIFICATE AND KNOW THAT WITH ONLY A FEW SMALL ACCESSORIES, A FULL SERVICE AND A SET OF TYRES SHE IS MORE THAN LIKELY TO PASS AN RTA INSPECTION. I LEAVE FOR THE UK IN 3 WEEKS ODD AND THE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE SOLD BY THEN. ANY QUESTIONS JUST GIVE ME A CALL.
ADCabanaBoy
So What ever happened to this one ... you guys bought it but you left in the part where the owner had to leave the country. It looks like it needs a total rebuild. What was the asking price anyway. You need to keep the board up to date on your cars man! AUTOEMOTIONAL
Hey dude! SHE LIVES! Well sort of anyway....! Story goes that I was leaving for the Uk and she did not sell before I left. To be honest I was glad as theres def some sort of a redeaming feature about her. As it stands she starts and drives pretty well, but alas the body work need a decent bit of TLC which she is now receiving from my friends garage in Al Quoz. I will keep the posts going with the project and pics if Im able but believe me,by hook or by crook, Ill breath life into the old girl yet! :0)
