Will the BMW engine oil last longer then a normal Oil?

BMW645 has a longer life of engine oil that will last longer then usual. but i want to know if this is true?

It all depends on which engine oil you choose. Fully synthetic lasts longer than semi synthetic or mineral oil.

If i am not wrong fully synthetic lasts for 15000 kms, Synthetic lasts for 10000 kms and mineral oil last for 5000 km.

Does the brand make a diference? Any recomendations where to do oil change on my 2006 650 i convertable with 150000km on the clock. Agmc want 1100aed, munich and tony edwards 650, emarat and enoc 450. All use original bmw oil filter but all use their own brand of synthetic oil at their own price.

i think brand definitely matters. if you use cheaper brands it will damage the car and the good ones wont. isint that the purpose of the engine oil

Thanks akram, but bmw is charging 100 aed for mobil and other places charge 60 for the same? Where would u advise i do my oil service
