dose my LX470 have a pulley

dose myLX 470 2002 (American Spec) have a pulley

if it dose, dose it go bad or loose and dose that harm the ingine

this is what i have been told by the repair guys please advice if this is really the case

Every car has pulley to run serpentine belt for alternator, water pump and fan.

Yes it does go bad, like little loose and damage engine if not changed. Its an ageing issue. You got an honest mechanic, he is right
