What is to be checked when getting the car registered?

this is the first time getting my car registered what are they going to check ?

can i get a list please?

  chassis
  any accident
  leaks
  safety of the car that is the air bag seat belts etc
  brake lights
  hazard switch and sign

Use your eyes and physically go through the car and make sure everything is in check. Also try to run the VIN number if you have to.
