gearahmed
I have a Mitsubishi Nativa 2000 and I have been driving it for years. Recently, however, I have been hearing squeaking sounds whenever I step on the pedal. I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to cars so I usually let the mechanic do the check ups. The problem is that I am a bit short of budget this month so I was wondering if there is something I can do rather than having to bring this to the mechanic. naseemk
Try stepping on gas without AC on and if squeaking doesnt come, then its AC belt need change. Its not critical item you can get it change next month. Just spray WD 40 on belt and this squeaking will go away for 3-4 days. If its coming when AC is off, then you really need a mechanic to diagnose in certain other physical ways to find out the problem.
gearahmed
I have tried this but it didn't work. Do you have another suggestion? A friend told me to check out the cables and the throttle body flap. Do you think that's reasonable?
birj
if the noise is getting worse then i suggest the only thing you should be doing is taking to a mechanic
