My 2002 Pathfinder feels sluggish after coming from desert.

After taking my car into the desert it has become sluggish as i feel the effort my 2002 pathfinder is putting it in to move.

Any particular or vague reason for this to happen only after the drive

Have you cleaned out the air filter, it can have a large effect on performance?

I have a Patrol 4.8 that had no power, I learnt to tap out my air filter after every trip
