mattd Posted March 3, 2014 Report Share Posted March 3, 2014 Generally one faces ignition problem in two cases: 1. No fuel: If it is because of the fuel, then the reason can be bad fuel pump. Since your car is quite old, may be the fuel pump needs to be replaced or repaired. 2. No spark: If you think that there is no spark when you are trying to start the car, then may be crankshaft position sensor(CKP) is broken or loose.
