Question about repairs..

Hello everyone,

I am a first time Porsche owner and absolutely love my car but recently the soft top got jammed and broke. I took it to Al Nabooda in Al Quoz and after 48 hours and ten phonecalls by me trying to find out if someone had looked at it they say it arrived with a broken cable which led to a broken transmission. Then as they were investigating this the other transmission broke too. They have quoted my 6,600AED for repairs which seems really expensive. Plus I am not entirely happy with the level of customer service.... I just really wanted to see if anyone else out there had experienced a similar problem with their Porsche and perhaps could advise me on anywhere else that might be good for getting the work done?

I very much appreciate any info as I am still learning!

Help by starting with what porsche you have, year make and model. What transmission cables are broken?

I know a few places that do porsche servicing.

you guys know what will wheel balancing cost?

I payed 250 for alignment and balance in Sharah Front wheels.

But this can be done at any petro station too by laser.

I've faced a similar issue last week. They say that the Soft top Transmission has broken down, but are not being clear whether its the assembly or the motor... Wanted to check if I can get a Used part somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.
