overheating problem

i have a 2000 VW Scirocco which is an American spces my car keeps overheating even in this weather. so i changed to a new water pump and thermostat. What should I check next

US spec usually need a GCC thermostat, water pump is fine and if its still overheating get GCC specs radiator or may be slightly bigger core radiator. it will surely help.
