timing belt replacement

hi.

i just by a passat 2006 2.0 at 93000km i changed just oil the car drive is very nice but i feel a little pressure when the transmission go up i call service center they telling me must change the timing belt after 90000km is that necessery now because that cost 2400AED very exp for me now????

Timing belt change is indeed very necessary and it should be done at required kms. However its not super urgent, you can pull it till 95k -100k. Sooner the better.

After changing the timing belt before 6 months now is cut and i didn't found the bearing shift at the market.
