Door doesn't lock

The door of my Uplander won’t lock. It’s really annoyingnow. I have no time to drop my car to the dealer. So at least can anyone tell me what’s wrong and how can it be fixed?

Check the rod on the door. May be the rod came out. Also, the plastic chip which connects the rod to the door also needs to be checked. I suppose it’s the rod. Just fix it properly back in the door
