We anchored the front and rear of the vehicle from above with ropes... Slow slow cleared sand from tyres and body .. release a little slack on front anchor... Slow slow cleared sand from tyres and body... And repeated over and over until the front of car was facing down hill.. then drove out. 

Yes I think that was the wheel well liner..

 Was very warm 🥵
