  1. I bought a PS 4 1 TB . Learning the tricks and getting used to as it is quite a new experience for me. PS 4 is selling like hot cakes on the shelf , and many places dont have it.One of the guys who owns a electronic shop advised me to go for PS 4 just for the fact that it has so many games, accessories and others available all the time - just in case you need them. I am loving the GT sport and NFS heat as of now. Minecraft is too cumbersome as it needs some learning. All in all a good way to time pass , and vow! what a world it is with so much advancement in Gaming . Thanks everyone for your replies and inputs. Hope you all stay safe and be cautious!

  4. I have PS4 and I think its best choice. Now spending time Playing with Kids and yes can find Games easily New and used. @Rahimdad made me nostalgic with some older models. Started with Atari Games, Old Nintendo, Sega Drive then PS series. Old Favs always Street fighter, Tekken, Ninja , now Call of Duty, Last of Us and many other. I do suggest to buy PS4 or wait a little PS5 is on the way.

  5. I have master system and C64 at home. I still play some of the classic games on emulator on PC when I get bored. I had emulators and roms for both on my phone for a while but they are difficult to control on a tiny touch screen so I junked them. Here’s mega drive on the phone

  6. Playing online with randomers for the first time is a steep learning curve. I thought I was a god on forza until I got xbox live. Used to beat all my friends. I got my ass handed to me every time. Most of these guys are nerds who live in their mothers basements and game 14 hours a day. There’s no way you can compete with them. I did get pretty good at project Gotham racing. Made it to number 3 in the world then the servers got shut down.

  8. Bought a PS4 few weeks ago and it keeps me quiet. Bought COD, but thats not my cup of tea, the guys online are too good. Now I am playing GT Sport, doing the skills to earn free cars. Also playing The last of us, also not bad. If we didn’t have the curfew, I would never have bought it.

  11. Nothing I can add to what @Gaurav bhai and @desertdude already mentioned. It would be nice for a start and gaining experience to better your skills. Can upgrade once you reach extreme level.

  12. Probably not, but you might have to change the watchs' battery more regularly- like everyday or something.

  13. I like it for the fact it's a proper tiny 4x4 with a ladder frame chassis and transfer case and none of that crossover nonsense of basically being a front wheel drive with a lsd center diff. Like RAV4 CRV type crap. Depending on your skil level it's pretty much good for every thing except extreme desert driving in stock form.

  15. As many said here - it truly depends on what games you like to play. I have been gaming since i was a kid which incidently has become my profession now and I head the buying and marketing division in Geekay games for the GCC. What we have seen increase during these lockdown times is the Nintendo switch mainly because it is more of a family console with its own set of games like the Marios , Just Dance , Animal Crossing etc. Playstation coming at very close with many game developers really focusing their games on this platform - you can really not go wrong with this console ( unless you want to wait for a much pricier PS5 in Oct/Nov ). Xbox has close to less than 5% following in the middle east partly because majority of the install base in the middle east is PS4 and you really wouldnt find much ppl to play with in multiplayer games in the middle east. The best time to buy this will be during the Ramadan/Eid period as many brands are discussing on promotions at this point and as an insider i can tell you there is a possibility of getting an Xbox X for 1499 AED and Playstations 1TB are going to go at 1249 AED. A problem we are facing currently is a big shortage on Nintendo and Playstation consoles due to a surge in sales , which should hopefully be better by the last week of April. I would personally recommend going for the PS4 as of now if you can still get it of course.

  16. The main deciding factor is probably what do your friends play? If you want to play online, you’ll need the same console. I used to play playstation but Im on Xbox now, mainly because I got into Forza and Halo games when they come out and I never looked back. I prefer the Xbox controller too and I can use it on PC games. Not a fan of the switch, I think it’s more of a kids thing. It’s best to try everything and see what you like and check out what games are available that you might be into. Most reviews are a bit like the ford v gm thing and they’re clouded by brand loyalty.

  17. I would like to ask you all who have gaming consoles or have used them , which is the best one . With the top three options being PS4, Xbox one and Nintendo switch Just so much reviews and detailed suggestions everywhere , but first hand experiences and personal suggestions for games would be appreciated. Sorry for being late to this amazing world of gaming, but the lockdown has made me to think about buying one and forget everything else !

  24. Thanks. Nice observations and very well said " mild off-roading"!! May be good option for overland than typical desert drives. H'ever, looking to its cost under 85K, 7 years warranty etc. are pretty good offers..

  25. Very difficult to say based on video reviews as mostly are sponsored content (paid reviews) and they will leave you more confuse than giving one sided answer. What I see - from a distance - it's a cute little 4x4 for on-road and mild off-roading for newbie and fewbie level drive and nothing beyond that unless modified. Fewbie level only in winters too and not in summer as he was driving in LO gear due to 30 kmph limitation in HI gear. Driving for 15-20 minutes in LO gear at 40 degree for a test drive vehicle is very different than driving it for 4-5 hour span. I think we recently had similar Jimny in one of newbie convoy, I think @Frederic has that in his convoy. Am I right?

  26. Yes, this was the point. I have managed to pull him down to this price down, i don't think he will come down any further. The guy is immigrating to UK with his family, wife and kids have already flown almost 6 months ago, he stayed back to put his ducks in order. So one of the reason for him selling is because he is immigrating to UK. Just had a call with him again in the afternoon, he was planning to submit the resign at his workplace next week and wanted to finanlize the deal. To be honest, i have driven accord for the last 5 years and have changed its consumables only till now along with the regular maintenance. I am not aware of any other mechanic or workshop that could help me, hence paid the price of 450 for the test thinking it should be sufficient but now as you have said they are not always the best option then i am thinking, one where to get it tested and 2nd wasted my money 😢😢 I have checked the service record and it is fine till date. He has been servicing the vehicle at proper intervals so no problem here.i read an article somewhere that if the car has high highway miles they are equivalent to half the miles in city. So in this case as his 90% ride was from Ajman to Jebal Ali, the miles in reality should be looked as 75k rather than 150k, not sure how much true is that. Thanks @Wrangeld, i think i should parallely secure a contract with car wash shops.😁 Thanks @Rahimdad for the welcome. If it is the bumper that will prove to be an issue then i think that is something that can easily be fixed, am i right is saying this? Where in its a piece of Machine, I totally agree with you, machines are unpredictable as do everything in life is and this is where the realibility of the machine comes in. I am still planning to keep my Accord, but during the cost of ownership for the accord is substantially much higher than Toyota. This is something that i was suprised to learn about. I believe you would agree with me, if the sand bug bite was to bite me and i have to worry about these points then definately i would come to these list, (bookmark done). Just another question, the vehicle i understand are in these price range but what about the repais and parts cost? sometimes the vehicles are cheap to buy but very expensive to maintain

  33. I’m not really a gamer but got some pretty old consoles at home that my kids love to play with. Most of them I got for free as they were collecting dust somewhere else: - Sega Master System. Love the classic games like Sonic. Nostalgia - PS2: we have all the singstar games so kids and sometimes myself love to karaoke the evening away. Also Buzz and some other cool stuff like the early GTA. -Nintendo Wii: only use it for playing Mario Kart with the kids. Never been impressed with it. -PS3: got this from my brother in law as he upgraded to PS4. Has GTA5 and some other really cool games, but more suitable for adults imho. If you want to game yourself, a PS4 or Xbox is definitely a great buy. If you want this to be a family thing then I’d recommend the older consoles or Nintendo switch. If you happen to have an Apple TV, there is also an option called Arcade that for a small subscription you can install and play some really nice games.

  34. I have the PS4 but haven't touched it in ages. Mostly play some crazy games on my mobile phone. But with the mobile phones and gaming companies development there are many mobile games which can keep you engrossed and occupied. They claim the best console should be put by October this year, the PS5. I started with Ps1 with Cricket, Grand Turismo and Tekken. Later the PS2 with the newer games in the same category but better graphics. It was PS3 than along with the PSP handheld console, but the same game categories. One game that kept growing on me were the Need for speed series and I had to have the latest one with every console. The PS4 was gifted to my daughter by my brother and Need for speed and the latest cricket games stayed on with the likes of FIFA games, but intead of Tekken similar games like the Injustice league took its place. I can't even remember when was the last time I touched my PlayStation. However FIFA is a great time pass when you compete among each other in the family. Just 2 people should not fight over who gets Brazil as their team. I am a rate Nederlands fan and no one wants my team, so I'm good.

  36. I know I might preach a lot on carnity about jacking cars but I do so with reason. I know too many people who have been hurt or killed by cars falling on them. One old guy I used to restore cars with made it to 70 years of age. He made a mistake and got squashed to death by a shitty Opel ascona. Hardly a car worth dying for. He lived a happy life. Could have spent another 20 year playing guitar and smoking ganja on his porch but he got killed because of a stupid mistake. 70! He was a really good friend. I learned a lot from him. Then one day he was gone because of a stupid mistake. Never work under an unsupported car. A hydraulic jack doesn’t provide the support you think it does. I can tell you horror stories which end with my head getting nearly squashed. Spend the extra money. If you’re buying a jack, buy a pair of axle stands. It could save your life.
