Hey guys. the steering wheel on my 2008 Malibu car gets locked automatically. Its really anooying. Can anyone tell me whats te issue as I am not really free to go to the dealer these days. Thanks in advance.

Please be aware that all the electrical instruments in the car have one thing in common and ie.e: grounding and proper voltage. if the electronic instrument panel is displaying broken codes, then it is because of the improper or low voltage or may be the the grounding connection has been disturbed. Please check the voltage of the connection and if it is low, then take it to the service center for the repair.

When such a thing happens, the problem is issued in the charging system, it may be because of bad alternator. You can use the voltmeter to check the voltage is the charging system. if the reading is lesser than 13 volts, then surely the charging system has failed and need to repair/replace it.

talking about Chevrolet brand, my car was a miss. I bought Chevrolet Impala 2 years ago and I am still struggling with my car. For 6 months, at first it was perfect and gradually Ac stopped working. And then garage people changed the break pads. After that, the engine started acting weird. Then changed the fuse, oxygen sensor, refrigerant and the list goes on. May be i bought an old car that is why i faced so many problems. Guys! I will suggest everyone not to buy an old car as you will loose your pocket under the maintenance of the car itself.

Hi Everyone I always hear that one should always get the wheels of their car aligned in regular intervals of time. But was wondering, why regular wheel alignment compulsory?
