Hi Ronan! I have replaced my timing belt at AutoPRO in ENOC and it cost me 1,100 dirhams only
  2. Sorry for the late reply. Found the problem actually 2 problems... A/C clutch and my FUEL PUMP. Replaced the clutch and fuel pump now its working fine. Why the fuel pump affects the AC system? When i turn on the A/C there is not enough gas or pressure coming from the gas tank. Now hoping that this will be the last major maintenance I had to do with my car and its running fine now. Thanks!
  3. Hi All! As stated, I am having problems with my car aircon since its summer and I know its not yet really hot. Do you guys have any shop recommendations for checking the ac system? Much appreciated in advance. The problem is that when stuck in traffic sometimes my ac is blowing air only but sometimes its blowing cold air. Sometimes it blows hard air even at 2 but sometimes it blows lesser air when in 2 (sounds confusing?). TIA!

  5. If you are in Dubai, check out TASRA 04-3285076) at shk zayed rd (before volkswagen showroom if you are coming from dubai) they have low prices compared to Al Tayer.

  7. 600dhs for labor only. Better bring your own spare parts (timing belt + tensioner).

What i did was search first in the internet to see how a professional mechanic proceed in changing the timing belt. So I went around Al Quoz and see if they "know" how to remove it and if I notice that they don't know how to do it, I will search for another. And after alot of shops I went, I finally ended up in ENOC at satwa where there is an Autopro shop and a mechanic who knew how to remove and replace the timing belt. Though they don't have the "special tool" to hold the camshaft in place, he improvised. And now I have a smooth running engine (since it was also tuned up by the mechanic) and a new timing belt. P.S. The old timing belt was still as good as new but I am just being careful. HTH!

If coming from Sahara Center going straight (passing the tire market on the right) i will reach the first signal (troy university is at the right), I will turn left from this signal crossing and will see shops at the backside after 500 meters. Did I understand it correctly? TIA
  10. Hi All! I have been trying to search the forum for any topic about scrap parts in Sharjah. I actually went this afternoon at Troy University to look for these shops with american cars scrap parts but found only for japanese cars. Can someone please help me and explain where is this BMW road? Back of Sahara Center is this the same Mall at Al Tawuun interchange? Sorry for being dumb about this I am not really familiar at Sharjah roads. TIA!
