Brake-pads can with proper driving last 40,000km, to 60,000km, or even longer if doing a lot of highway driving. The need to change brake-pads at 25,000km, could indicate your driving-style is very hard on the brakes. But Something is very wrong if you need to change rotors after 25,000km, I would think replacement need is very unlikely on a car that has only done 25,000km. Rotors should outlast easily the brake-pads by 2X-3X....Do you have any problems with the brakes while driving? (like a steering vibration while braking, or poor brake performance). What year is your car? Did you buy it new, or used? You should get first a more detailed explanation from Al Tayer why the rotors should be changed. What is the problem? Is the thickness an issue? If yes, are you sure that your car did 25,000km? If the rotor thickness is below the manufacturer advice, you should replace them. Ps: The thickness only decreases significantly if the rotors are shaved (Machined) by the workshop to get rid of imperfections and balance issues. This work is done normally when changing the pads....
  2. Fiesta is a very good choice. My sister in law bought a 2011 Fiesta Titanium, and its a very nice, complete car. Quiet ride, very comfortable, and great looking. Compared to the direct competition, like the Yaris and Tida, the Fiesta is much more mature, has the comfort of a much larger car. In my opinion. the Focus is also a good car, but the Fiesta is better looking.
