ramesh replied to fisherman's topic in Honda CR-V Forum in UAE
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System comes up when the tires are low on pressure and it can get fetal s o first get the pressure corrected and the get a good tire shop gut to remove the sign after getting the tires tested for the pressure leak. -

That means alternator isnt charging the battery and its expensive to change. Better show to qualified electrician and let them diagnose if alternator is faulty or not. Also ask them to check heavy 70 - 90 Amp fuse for alternator is fine or not. If there is any short on line that fuse trips off and alternator stop charging the battery.

If you have doubt for wheel bearing, lift the car on scissor jack where all 4 whel stays in air and then hold the tire from half way, and shake it hard. If feel little or more play its confirmed problem of wheel bearing. Changing or rotating tyre wont help. Change the bearing and balance the tyre and align it well.

Lift the car and see if something loose is rattling or vibrating like some heat shield or mud cover rubbing or hitting something down.

smoke coming out of exhaust and burning smell
ramesh replied to hitaintora's topic in Honda Civic Forum in UAE
It must be oil burning smell, that means piston rings is leaking engine oil in combustion chamber and leaving smoke. If smoke and power loss too, then check it cud be head gasket leaking. Both are serious and expensive to repair. -
Check the brake light fuse first in engine bay under the fuse box. Next check the brake light bulbs at tail gate.

no spark in spark plugs but they are working fine
ramesh replied to warje's topic in Honda Element Forum in UAE
Check the spark plug in dark to see if spark is there or not. Second thing you can doubt if plugs are fine but still no spark cud be HT leads (spark plugs wires) Next is the coil which distributed the spark to spark plug in there right firing order. -
Check if radiator is not blocked. Also check if engine and aux fan is working fine and cutting off fine from time to time.

Better get safety item done at dealer, as there shud be no compromise in these life saving item. And in car nothing replaces seat belt. My local friend got neck sprain and few other injury at 60kmph in accident w/o belt. Three months in hospital.

Ask your mechanic to tighten the play in pedal, as when brake pad was finish play was created and now with new pad too it feel same. Its a 2 min job for mechanic.

Spark plugs has nothing to with car jumping or bumping at low speed. Either tires you got is the swollen due to wrong storage. If that's the case there shud be strong humming noise at high speed you must be getting which was not there before. Check for swollen tire and ask for free replacement as its covered in warranty in almost all tire brands. Or tie rod is loose or over tight that's why its dancing at slow speed and steering return speed has increase. Get re alignment done from some reputed professional shop like Eisa saleh al gurg (dunlop guys), Fix plus (Emarat) etc and it shud go. Do not get it done from road side iranian guys for 50 bucks. They make big mess.
