amir there is a garage, which may be of some help to you.
Coming from dubai take a right from the National Paint Roundabout. go straight and keep looking on your right side. You will find an open area, with 2 or 3 cherokee (lifted) parked. There is a garage there, I did check in once, they are good. Sorry cant recall the name, but their work n prices are reasonable.
If in Sharjah.......opposite Catterpillar company road u will find Al Nahda Repairing, its on the main road.
I'm totally satisfied with their work and charges.
Yup, as long as the vehicle is clean go for it.....If by chance u do feel the temperature is higher than it should be, just add an additional aftermarket fan. Solves all ur problems. I've been using a 92 cherokee, US specs, and till date no issues. I did add an extra fan. Been off-roading, valley driving, and Alhumdulillah, no probs faced yet
Hi there. Will be uploading pictures of my 1992 XJ. I bought it for AED 2000, from a guy, who was about to scrap it. Had alot of work on it to be done, and am still undergoing slowly in making it into a desert beast.
Inspecting the XJ before purchasing it
Interior
Off-Road Test Drive
Installed a tow hook
Interior was total damaged so changed from beige to maroon.
Found fuel rail leaking, replaced seals.
Recently replaced my hood. Found this in a scrap yard and bought it for AED 50, along with a tyre carrier for AED 80
Next upcoming mod I'm planning is to give the front rubber guards a different look
While pressing the brake pedal if you hear the hissing sound, that means, your calliper seals are worn out.
look at the back side of your wheels, u will find some oil stain marks. its a cheap repair, get it done before it damages your master cylinder
Hi there. Am Samir Al Baloushi. I own a 92 XJ, brought back to live from the scrap yard. Done some mods and still working on it.
Glad to find a forum with UAE Jeep lovers.
Keep up the great work
Hey there, just joined in today with this site, and glad to know someone did think of bringing all Jeep enthusiants together
Well wanted to suggest a new column where members can show off pics of their jeeps as well as of any extra mods or custom work done.
thx
one missing nut does not make any difference and I think the Jeep has 5 nuts not 4. I drove an XJ for more than a year with one missing nut. It doesnt matters. But make sure its not more than one nut
