Changing is the faster but expensive option and unfortunately ONLY option, as i have not seen anyone repairing water pump here in this part of the world. Secondly i have not seen much water pump failing too. If you have got this advise from outside mechanic other then Arabian automobile guys, i must say then you need a second opinion too from an honest and qualified mechanic.

Timing belt change will be expensive, if im in your place i will get that at dealer as its one of the major major part handling the whole engine timing and i dont want outside guy to mess with it and throw 100 other faults and error. Let the professional take care of it.

Check the stability program is on and working, if its not it will display the error message as its quite major safety issue. If you mean its changing track on high speed, then its a wheel alignment issue. Emarat fix plus can fix it in 150 dhs.

Need an idle tune up by OBD tool.

Check the relays and then check the starter itself.

Black smoke means unburnt fuel, and its major causes are as follows: Black smoke is caused when the mix of fuel and air becomes un-balanced. Normal mixture is 14.5 parts air to1 part fuel. When the fuel to air mixtures change because of a malfunction the mixture can go as high as 14.5 to 2 or 3, two to three times the proper amount. The black smoke is the excess fuel generated from the rich mixture and can be cause by one of the following: * Plugged Air Filter * Shorted or stuck fuel injector * Failed fuel pressure regulator * Vacuum leak * Shorted PCM Sensor

Check the GPS or in dash system fuses first and see if all wire and connectors are fitted properly. Then better get the diagnose first to see if LCD or GPS isnt working. Dont spend money on guesses.

I don't know how bad yours is but direct sunlight will make it hard to see on these older LCD screens. I'm not sure if even replacing it will help much. It needs a new screen there. I doubt dealer will entertain that. Try that in shj some elect gizmo shop might help.

check fuse, some fuse must be blown away while changing the battery. Its common.

resync the car and key with remote, as it has disable the engine. Once set, it will start.

Key programming used to be a GREAT GOD GIFTED HEAVENLY BLESSING coming only from stealers oops dealers. But not any more. Many duplicate key making guys do the programming as well. I got one for 250 aed in burjuman parking with shop named 23 minutes or 25 minutes (cant remember correctly).

Find a guy first in shj who can program it for couple of hundred, and then buy it. And make sure key you buy over Ebay check the spec it suits your spec of car. I assume your must be US spec QX4, then buy US spec key only and it will work for sure if you find someone suitable to program it.

Are you loosing power too and low gas mileage. Then its a bad news that engine head gasket is gone and it results in white smoke and in beginning that grayish smoke looks like in different color. But i never heard blue.
