How often dose the synthetic oil need changing?

it is advisable to change at 5000 km with a max limit of 7500 km and never use a low quality filter. -
i have a 2008 G20 and is having a problem which is when i drive on humps the stering goes slightly on my right which i dont think is normal. any suggestions are welcome
