  1. I don’t think this sedan is all that. It is not pocket friendly, not the least bit. The fuel efficiency is poor with a dismal kmpg of 28/38. Who needs further financial strain in this economy!!! I hate to break it to you but this car will drain your wallet. I drained mine It looks pretty amazing though. I think that was the only reason I bought it in the first place!!
  2. you would be surprised to know that many people prefer the fx45 over the cayenne. Maybe it also because of the price but the fx45 is really attractive up close. plus many people dislike the cayenne for a number of reasons, the exteriors for one and then the associated problems with such a high-scale vehicle. FX 45 is safe and good.
  3. i have seen this misconception before. whenever an electrical problem comes up, everyone blames the battery. Actually it can be a number of things ... the alternator being the one for instance.
  4. Well at least now u know that you were in the right path .. so next time someone goes wrong you know where to look.
  5. Remember to disconnect the -ve battery terminal first ...then move to the starter electrical connector. Remove starter bolts and then you can just pull the starter out of the car... same moves to install a new one.
  6. why didn't you get the starter checked as well?
  7. Well if you are saying that the symptoms are somewhat the same then yes it might be the same problem.
  8. If your tires are smooth ... rotate them yourself .. quick and easy .. rear to the same front and the front to the same rear. It does take a lot of driving to even out the tires after rotation but it might reduced the noise. Rotation is a must-do job.
  9. Dear carnitiers, I am looking at changing the cooling system hoses on my Q45 ... they are knwn to be the Tshaped hoses located in the inner sides of the intake compartment. I felt they need to be replaced so is there any simple way to just take them out or unwind them? Ummm can I be causing damage to them if i try to pull on them? Thankyous
  10. Wow amit thanks for the detailed answer .. i tried it once but it didn't reset properly .. i am going to give it another shot tomorrow and see if i can get the sunroof to reset ... but much appreciative of your detailed response. i am really glad to be part of such a responsive forum!
  11. Hiya i am trying to reset the sunroof's operation since it will not open and close upon prompt or automatically. i need to know if there is a procedure which can help me reset the sunroof so that it goes back to it's initial setting. if I should not be playing around with my car then please tell so that i can take it in ... I assuming the process is fairly simple hence maybe I can save the trip. thank you in advance
  12. hey ! I would chip in a couple of grands and buy a bmw x3, audi q5 or Acura mdx instead ... all three are available to purchase in the UAE and I find all three better than the infiniti JX. In fact I also like chevrolet's tahoe 2013 which is a larger SUV as well AND which can be bought in the same price range!
  13. Open door message dose not go even when all doors are closed. How can i remove the message?
