  1. must be that your car is come of age so the steering rack needs changing.
  2. Whats the price and Milegae? Does it have FSH? Is it GCC specs, bought from Al Tayer?
  3. New one no idea, better off to source one used from shj scrap near BM road. Might cost around 500 - 1000 from scrap (its a guess).
  4. Congrats on ur new ride. Parts you can source from sharjah from gulf star. Cheapest than all and about 50% discounted price than Al Tayer. If you need to put lot of pressure on braking, that doesnt sound quite right. Its one of the weakest part of disoc and MOST expensive to repair. I am 90% sure its not pad its not rotor. Its the master cylinder or caliper piston is weak. Both are expensive. You might not find any trustworthy garage, so its better to do check on 3 people and get the job done from one who sounds educated and talk logic. I havent find one trusted garage in 7 years. As first time every garage wants to be good with you to make u regular and after 1st or 2nd visit they rip u off completely. engine oil, Shell helix is good and valvoline is good. Never heard of diesel oil in disco. Is ur discovery diesel engine?
  5. See this guy in UK recently cracked what you are trying to ask Al Tayer, i am not sure what nutbolt suggested local shops here can do this as its pretty new thing here still. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic44675.html Why would Al Tayer or any dealer do that for small peanut amount, as you have'nt bought full option car and they want to eat big bucks always. See this black box solution guys is selling the whole hardware and kit with which you can do it yourself and plus in future you can read and clear fault codes. Its for something 800-1000 euros. Nod bad. https://blackbox-solutions.com/shop/
  6. Check the leak under the expansion bottle if you are so sure abt not going to engine), it must be leaking from below and getting dried up with engine heat. Lift the bottle and see if you can spot green color coolant marks any where.
  7. i wanna know that which is the best coolant i should use for my car thanx
