For the desert capability I will highly advise to listen to @Joe Biju Joseph and @Tbone as they both are using their H3 regularly, unlike @desertdude comment (if you have searched older topics). For Hummer as a brand that has been discontinued since almost 10 years now, my main concern would be to source new/used parts regularly in the UAE. Prado, FJC, Xterra are also VERY GOOD contender, do consider them.

For some its attitude / style to show their supremacy over others by not following those stupid lines.

Are you buying this for off-road use? Is this 355K is on same engine or it has been changed? Is this stock engine rebuild or overhauled in the past? Is this Patrol has been driven in sand regularly? (90% chances are YES) Automatic or Manual? How many owners since new? Owner nationality and profession? Post some interior and exterior clear pictures to get more precise advise. The bottom line is you should avoid buying vehicle that has been "heavily used and abused" in off-road especially Nissan Patrol in her 20 years of owners history. If its road car, then you need a thorough check to make sure that. Also Nissan patrol are very commonly used with LS engines to thrash their usable life, once done they switch to stock engine and resell it. So if you see fancy color wires hanging in engine bay with unusal switches/knob/boxes then be sure its reincarnated version.

Black portion is called hitch, and white is the receiver. Receiver can be for trailer, for towing/tug with ball or hook. Was it your vehicle that had rear hitch or am I confused with @Predrag acimovic Expedition....?

We are glad to see that many real enthusiasts here notice and think alike on respecting each other time and attending brief is must for everyone. If you are a newbie, you still need to learn, if you are at fewbie or intermediate then you have to help and teach others like you have been helped few weeks back. It's called - "Pay it forward" (Google it, for people who aren't familiar with this). Get engaged in the morning briefing, meet and get to know new faces with whom you will be sharing your rest of the day, helping them or getting their help when you are stuck. If you have 3-4 hours for driving then spare some time for briefing and debriefing as those few minutes of investment, will help you enjoy your 3-4 hours of driving without breaking bumpers or bones.

@Nayan Shenai this is what you really need at your rear hitch. Just spotted this on the road and thought about your yesterday incident.

It's not for the warranty but for insurance, that's what @Barry mentioned. Every car has traction control and abs for stopping the wheelspin so you dont wrap around tree if you go throttle happy. Now in offroad such tarmac safety measures are hindrance for wheelspin that you need for offroading. If you install such kill switch and involve in accident, then insurance can use that installation for denying the claim, as every insurance ask you to check box if car is modified or not.....!
