  1. Mine is km, 3rd car so low usage , only 60km when igot it 4 years ago
  2. I cannot answer all your questions, also there is a flipant and answer that all starts to fall off from new, but suggest you take the advice of AAA or similar. You do not mention offroad, but if you do intend to enjoy the disco in the full then probably look to get an 04 with the Diff Lock as as an option, generally not available on earlier models , not essential but would be a nice to have. Mine has 100k on the clock (2000 my) and no leaks or major mechanical issues. You will already know but get one with a good service history, ideally with AAA or similar, and as you mention get it checked before you buy whatever the cost it is worth it
  3. Kinda finished and pleased with outcome 2inch OME lift CDL installed On board air ashcroft rear locker ashcroft front locker Front/ rear camera Hi lift spare tyre mount Winch and bumpers 265/75/16s BFG AT fitted Just need to tidy up the paintwork and a little rust over next couple of weeks
  4. Khalid, Thanx, also have today received 3 amigo reset box from RSW , so v happy J
  5. Got the Ashcroft airlockers fitted front and rear and decided to fit the CDL myself (with some help!). All now up and running so looking forwrded to getting out
  6. Also docsearch on the " the three amigos" . Plenty to read on line, not many easy solutions, even a reset may only last a while. I have also had AAA by pass some of the sensors, but i still get them come on I have reader( rsw solutions) arriving soon that wiil diagnose and reset, but not fix the underlying problems
  7. Managed to find the CDL linkage with Ashcroft transmissions in UK. After some research also bought an airlocker from them. Similar to ARB but alot cheaper esp. compared to UAE prices. Soon as delivered i will look for some one to fit. Still need some tyre recommendations Thx
  8. Sharky Mainly sand and very occaisional dirt tracks e.g in oman ? Only road driving wil be too and fro from going off road as is spare car , also had a play today and managed to find my CDL (2000 MY) which i engaged with a No.10 spanner Now looking for a 2nd hand linkage( off a D1) Makes me think , any one supply and have competence to fit air lockers, thinking of the rear wheels, to improve my options on off roading
  9. Thanx all, went with AAA and OME , pleased with the job and ride etc, now for the tyres, any views, not a road car, other than odd Dubai trip and a little bit of towing
  10. Tom Thanks, i ll speak with AAA. See what they recommend and what is in stock Jim
