  1. Wow what a lovely Saturday morning drive. 2 pop-outs, 4-5 tugs, multiple refusals, some very good self recoveries and traversing through a beautiful terrain we reached the finish line with smiles on our face and feeling of an awesome fun learning experience. Simply a perfect FB drive that challanged us all and in the process made us all a better offroaders. Chasing the sun we drove around 31Km, smoothly climbing up the Pink rock and finding our way through nice churned up sand at an average moving speed of 13.5Km/hr (felt faster than stats show, perhaps that's just the terrain) Thanks @Gaurav for the experience. @Simon Dawood other than that last min pop out was a perfect SL drive for you. You aligned to Gaurav instructions well and sailed through the terrain. @Quresh Pajero a pop out early in the drive add ups a little bit more to the challange and it was a good day at work for you, i am sure you will relish the experience, as you sail through in your future drives 🙂 You have a good control on vehicle, just a bit gas shy.. ..i could almost predict your stucks/refusals moments before they happened (guess found something similar to what i went through) .. Pajero has lot more to offer, it just needs to be explored. 👍👍 @Shahid Mehmood an awesome drive for you today. Having driven with you a week back, i just felt like it was some different driver behind the wheels ...it's really beautiful how our experiences through every drive adds to confidence and control. Very well done. @Jose Thomas nicely done .just a little bit more push, a bit more gas and most importantly .. when in doubt just steer down. @Jona was lovely seeing your FJ sail through the terrain.. it was an impeccable day at work for you - no extra churn of sand, no extra rpms..was just perfect. Looking forward to drive with you soon. @Tareq Al Turq with an expert co-pilot no terrain can challenge your Prado (of course I am not even going to think about the challenges you faced 😂😂) @Karthik Raptor the vroom vroom of Gaurav while your climb up the Pink rock said it all... Nice work. @KKIRAN another beautiful day on sand for you. Nicely done @Rob S as always was nice catching up with you . thanks for keeping all safe and togather. 👍 Thanks all for the lovely drive, your company made the pleasant morning even better.
  2. "Can" is the key word ....fact is they can and i guess to an extant want too ...just can't see us happy. 😂😂
  3. Seeking permission from home of course .. Moreeb, Dune 7, Rig E Yalan all are small compared to this challange.. 😂😂
  4. Wow awesome ... seems carnity is fully committed to ensure we will be thrown out of our homes ..mid term school break and need to seek permission to be out in desert for two days ...interesting .😂😂😂 i am in for this challange, Is Moreeb part of the equation? Couldn't cover it last time.....
  5. Thanks @Gaurav for adding me to drive, been long have been to Tawi Nazwa... Hv my tools (and diapers 🙂) packed.. looking forward for the action through the lovely and deceptive star dunes of area. See you all on sand 👍
  6. Hi @Ale Vallecchi seems won't be able to make it in time for drive. Have a fun and safe drive. Cheers
  7. Hi @Ale Vallecchi would like to join however have a meeting tomo around noon (awaiting final schedule), so will only be able to confirm tomo. Have added myself to the WL, hope would be okay to keep it open (?). Thanks
  8. Thanks @Chaitanya D for the lovely afternoon drive and thanks all for a fun filled drive. Starting from Lisali the convoy cut through some technical and some long range dunes. Driving southward we passed through the tricky Desert Championship waypoints to end the drive next to love lakes....and what a busy end point it was, felt more like entrance at Expo. It was a signature @Chaitanya D drive with learning perfectly blended into fun - the track n terrain ensured all our tools - ropes, shackles, shovels, jack etc were out on sand and the nervous faces on the ridge and smiles upon accomplishment reminded me of my first FB drive with Chaitanya in Sweihan almost an year back .. i fell in love with Criss crossing that day and was clear yesterday that the whole convoy had fun with it as well. Overall we drove around 43Km at an average moving speed of 21Km/,hr, a good effort considering the decietful Lissali terrain we traversed through. @Rob S and @Bruno Finel you had perfect drives. Thanks Rob for executing SL role to perfection . Lisali is not an easy terrain to lead and demands a strong SL, you handled it very nicely. @Shahid Mehmood @Patrick van der Loo and @Bhaskar you all handled your ships very well. As we already discussed during and post drive, the long ln. entails more tendency to fishtail, so stay focussed on right momentum and lines. Again the rule of thumb - when in doubt steer down. @FARAZ MOHAMMED a fun day at work for you, that's what FB drives are for. Every refusal, crest, pop out makes one a better offroader and you had it all.🙂. Was nice to see you self recover from that crest. Do get all your tyres checked before the next drive. @Prakash Anoop @AlexM @KAMALIO The Wrangler Boys just sailed through the terrain and so did our lone FJ @Pierre de Maigret. Beautifully driven. Thanks @Kailas for your guidance throughout and keeping the long convoy together. Hope to see you all on sand soon.

  14. Awesome day in desert...thanks Gaurav and all. Best thing for me was that V channel concept on top of the crest....never tried it before and was just awesome feel to recover out of that crazy crest. Thanks @Gaurav for that ..of course @Rizwanm2 for your support.
  15. All based on feedback from someone who went to AD today morning, plan your timing considering a bit of fog in morning. Though understand red alert was only for Wed and Thursday, better to plan for worst.
  16. Am i checking somewhere wrong ...the earliest I was able to find on SEHA app was at Dubai Parks for 29th, while checking on 26th. My experience with result has been good though, last 3 times got done always got it in 6-10hours...struggled always with appointment.
  17. Yeah SEHA is undoubtedly the best .. just not easy getting an appointment if not planed well and walk in takes time.
  18. All, Anyone planning to get PCR done, try Rizek app with promo code RR99, some promo going for home service at 99/-... So surely better than hassle of waiting in queue or spending more.
  19. Element now i am more concerned is below...need to cut a deal with my daughter to skip the sloth gender reveal...😂😂
  20. Hi @Rawad i booked booster slot yesterday for 27th at Dubai Parks... Only element i am counting on is after effects (believe usually stay for 10-12 hours so should be good ).
