not only in dubai its common in all areas they steal batteries, car parts, light bars, stereo , basically anything from customers cars or any car thats collecting dust....
private buyers through copart and other auction sites buying cars only by looking at pictures
there its also not what everything you see is real...have seen guys buying cars with intention of fixing and selling and in the end after wining the bid and waiting 2 to 4 months when the car comes they are missing engine gear but in pictures its there...
they only way to do a fix is if find out what really happened to it...have seen import cars with chassis damage which was patched up and then had a light damage on the other side so it wont look as bad to be sold...
@desertdude is right that v engine's w/p runs with timing chain
@Barry some radiators have a L neck and some might show that the direct under the cap lines are clear but the ones at the ends are choked a clear diagnosis is to open the plastic end and have a full through view....
or you could remove the cover of the radiator and inspect inside to see if the lines are choked or blocked as it a old radiator...water pump circulation can be observed after the THERMOSTAT has opened and you will see a swirl action at the cap...
P.S please don't try this yourself let a professional handle such things as really hot water is involved i really don't want you to burn yourself and end up in a hospital...
if you up for it and are located in the city area then fancy an extra 300 for transport i could come pick the car and drop it off after finishing the work....
most of the owners usually have 2 or 3 cars so when the last one being driven breaks down only then they on your head oh till now you haven't yet fixed it....
you reap what you sow habibi if you cough up good money then even in U.A.Q you can get good work done..in the end there is all types of work offered paired with your expectations...
have you tried fueling in slow and fast mode respectively and seen any difference and often when you say so what exactly is the needle level when it often dies...?
the rpm needle little raised in infiniti and nissan cars are sometimes the reason for raised temp needle and weird shiftings you have to get the car's throttle programed as sometimes when you clean the throttle body or remove the battery wire it just resets and stands a bit higher then normal try to get it calibrated maybe all will come good
i had a infiniti fx50s its rpm was way above at around 2k used to heat up in usually 5 to 8 mins until it got programmed
also had a urvan that used to sit at 1.1k that also had a complain of gradual heating in it....
in idle the high rpms are somthing to be concerned about in these cars..

you can always put aftermarket radiators sometimes they even come in larger volume then the originals....most of the times cheaper then the originals...
